Videography
Brisbane.

You've spent serious money on this event.
The footage needs to earn that back.

You've spent real money putting this event on. The speakers, the venue, the catering, the logistics. And when it's over, most of that investment disappears unless someone captured it properly. Unreal Media provides professional event videography for Brisbane businesses that need a crew who can move through a live environment, cover what matters, and deliver content you'll actually use.

Event videographer filming conference in Brisbane
Why it matters

What separates professional event coverage from a camera pointed at a stage

Most event videography produces footage that exists but doesn't get used. It's technically correct, the keynote is on camera, the award presentations are recorded, but it's flat, unmemorable, and nobody posts it. That's what happens when the brief is "show up and film."

The difference is judgment. Our producers read the room before the day starts. They've studied the run sheet, they know which moments are non-negotiable, and they've briefed every crew member on what to look for. When the keynote overruns, when the best moment of the day happens in a corridor between sessions, when the lighting rig shifts halfway through the awards, nobody panics. They adapt.

01
Multi-camera coverage
For larger events, one camera is never enough. We run multi-camera setups, stage, room, and floor, with each operator on a briefed shot list working independently. No crossed wires. No missed coverage because everyone assumed someone else had the angle.
Available on all events
02
Same-day delivery
When social content can't wait until next week, we offer same-day delivery. An edited highlights package or a set of social clips delivered while the event is still happening, or immediately after it wraps. Content posted on the day of an event consistently outperforms content posted days later.
Book in advance
03
On-site offloading
For multi-day events, we offload and back up footage to redundant drives at the end of each day. Your content is protected before we leave the venue, no single point of failure, no reason to lie awake at night.
Multi-day standard
04
Producer-led productions
Every event is led by a producer, not just a camera operator. That person owns the final output. They brief the crew, manage the shot list, coordinate with your event manager, and make the calls that protect the edit when things don't go to plan. You don't need to manage the crew.

What we cover

We work across the full range of corporate and professional events. The format changes, but the goal is the same: leave with footage that's genuinely usable, not just footage that exists.

Conferences and summits

Multi-session coverage for keynotes, panels, breakout sessions, and delegate content. We coordinate with your AV team, work to your run sheet, and stay out of the way when we're not needed.

Product launches and brand events

The launch itself is a content opportunity. We capture the reveal, the room's reaction, and the atmosphere around it — and turn that into content for social, your website, and internal comms.

Corporate awards and galas

Low-light environments with a lot happening at once. We cover award presentations, networking moments, and the atmosphere between, delivered as a highlight package your sponsors and partners can actually share.

Seminars and training days

Full-day coverage of speaker sessions and workshop activity. Good for organisations that want to repurpose their live events as on-demand training content or thought leadership material.

Internal events and town halls

HR and comms teams come to us for internal events that need to be captured well. Town halls, team days, strategy presentations — produced in a way that employees will actually watch, not just file away.

Expos and trade shows

High-footfall, fast-paced environments where the shot list goes out the window by 10am. We cover stand presentations, live demos, and delegate interactions and bring back a floor-level record of the day.

Event videography pricing

Most events that need professional coverage don't need a solo operator with a consumer camera. They need a prepared crew who can cover multiple things happening simultaneously, adapt when the run sheet changes, and deliver edited content that actually gets used. That's what our pricing reflects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Brisbane is our home base, but we travel. We cover events across South East Queensland and regularly take on interstate projects. If you have a conference, awards night, or multi-day event outside Brisbane, get in touch, we’ll let you know if we can make it work.

For smaller events, 2-4 weeks is usually fine. For major conferences, multi-day events, or productions needing multiple shooters, 6-8 weeks gives us time to brief the crew properly and do a venue scope if needed.

Popular dates, end-of-year award nights, conference season, fill early. If you have a date locked in, the earlier you get in touch the better.

It always does. Our team will adapt accordingly: adjust the shot list, reposition crew when sessions shift, make sure the moments that matter are still covered.

That’s what you’re paying for, people who can think, not just follow a script.

Yes, and we prefer it. A pre-event call with your AV team helps us understand the lighting rig, microphone setup, and any restrictions on camera positioning. The more we know before the day, the smoother it runs on it.

Where available and permitted, yes. We connect to the venue’s house feed for clean audio of speaker sessions. It’s far better than recording room audio with a camera mic, and it’s standard practice on all our conference and event productions in Brisbane.

Depends on the format. A single focused keynote can be covered well with one operator. A full-day conference with simultaneous sessions, breakout rooms, and networking content needs 2–3 shooters. We’ll recommend the right crew size when we look at your run sheet — there’s no point paying for three cameras if one will do the job properly.

Yes, that’s same-day delivery. With planning upfront, we produce social-ready highlights while the event is still in progress. Particularly useful for conferences and awards nights where you want to be posting before the evening ends. It requires an on-site editing setup and needs to be locked into the scope before the day.

Just access and a point of contact who knows the run sheet. We bring everything else. For some venues you’ll need to arrange power access or parking for the production vehicle, we’ll confirm requirements beforehand.

Yes. Multi-day events are a significant part of what we do, conferences, training programs, bootcamps, and corporate retreats. We manage crew scheduling, on-site offloading between days, and consistent coverage across the full event. Multi-day projects are quoted as a single fixed-price scope, not separate day rates.

The most common package: a hero highlight reel (2-4 minutes), individual session or speaker videos, social cuts in landscape and vertical format, and a raw footage archive. Some clients add the same-day social package.

We scope deliverables at the start so you know exactly what you’re getting, no scope creep, no invoice surprises at the end.

Standard turnaround is 10-15 business days from the event. If you need content faster, post-event attendee communications, a Monday-morning LinkedIn post, a sponsor deliverable with a hard deadline, plan an expedited workflow from the start. Same-day delivery is available with advance notice and the appropriate on-day setup.

Yes. If you’ve got footage from previous events and want it turned into a highlight reel or event showcase, that’s a standalone post-production project we can quote separately. We do it regularly for organisations using past event content in sponsorship proposals, future event marketing, or award submissions.

Because it’s a full commitment, not a two-hour studio shoot. Event videography means experienced operators working independently in live environments, production-grade gear that won’t fail under sustained use, and proper post-production to turn raw coverage into something people will actually watch and share.
